Step 1 - Initial Consultation:

During your exam, the Vascular Vein Center Specialist will assess the following:

• Visual and palpable varicose veins and location
• Skin changes
• Evidence of edema and location
• Spider veins and their location
• Arterial blood supply

This information is the basis for a personalized treatment plan.

Step 2 - Vascular Lab:

After an initial consultation, a duplex scan is usually performed. This is an in-office procedure, and is completely painless.

The procedure is usually performed with the patient standing, and is used to examine the deep, superficial and perforator veins. Some cases of spider veins don't require a scan.

Step 3 - Treatment Options:

We are the only vein center in Central Florida who employs all modalities for vein treatment. State-of-the-art technology is available today, and can be performed in an office setting, with less pain, risk, and a faster recovery time. Please view our vein Treatments page for more information.

Step 4 - Follow-Up Visits:

The final step in our 4 Star Process is one of the most important; Follow-Up Visits. We know how important it is to evaluate your progress, address any questions you may have following your procedure, and ensure you are happy with the results! Depending on your personalized treatment plan, you may be scheduled for a follow-up visit between three and fourteen days after your procedure. Additional follow-up visits may be scheduled based on your progress. We will continue to follow-up with you every 6 to 12 months to monitor your progress, and discover any new problems before they become obvious.
